New "Sparkle" Trailer Shows Whitney, Jordin...and Cee Lo Green with Hair!
In the trailer for the film, set in the 1960s, Whitney looks great as she sings, jokes, and dispenses advice to her musical prodigy daughter, saying, "Was my life not enough of a cautionary tale for you?" You'll also get to see Cee Lo Green, who plays Black, the sisters' opening act, but he's nearly unrecognizable due to the fact that he has hair. Ever the ladykiller, Cee Lo tells the sisters after they get off stage, "You were foxy up there!"
"Celebrate," the duet from the Sparkle soundtrack featuring Jordin and Whitney, is now available on iTunes. The song was written and produced by R. Kelly, and his website notes that it's the last song that Whitney recorded before her tragic death in February.
