Sunday, multiple outlets reported that BET's Entertainer of the Year,
Chris Brown was "detained by police and taken to the local LAPD station"
after security discovered that he had brought a weapon into the awards
show at the Shrine Auditorium. The rumor gained traction on Twitter,
where users wrote that Breezy was packing
heat in case of another temper flare-up with Drake, whose comments to Brown about Rihanna reportedly sparked a bottle-throwing melee
at a New York club last month. But no glass was hurled at the Shrine
and no guns were drawn. As for the weapons arrest? "Nothing of the sort
happened," says a rep for the singer. In addition to Entertainer of the
Year, Brown took home the award for Best Male R&B Artist and won the
